Why did Floyd Mayweather duck Kell Brook instead of fighting him for undisputed at 147?

After beating Pacquiao, Floyd secured 3/4 Welterweight championship belts and was 1 fight away for undisputed. Why didnt he fight Kell Brook who got the ibf belt the last belt remaining in the ww division to fight Andre Berto?

Kell would take that fight in a heartbeat as that would be the highest payday of his career, this is the same guy who cashed out and ruined his career for a golovkin payday, so dont you dare say he wouldnt take a Floyd fight if it was offered to him.

Was Floyd really that scared of Brook’s chocolate browne? One thing that is missing in Floyd’s resume was being an undisputed champion at a weight class. And he could have achieved that if he chose to fight brook after he defeated Pacquiao. But instead chose to fight a bum in berto

Gayweather's entire career is ducking the best, never unifying all four belts.

Facts. Only a Floyd dîckrider wouldnt see this. Very obvious he ducked Kell Brook. Who the hell among the atg’s besides Floyd would choose to fight a bum like Andre Berto instead of going undisputed against Kell Brook?

Mayweather's legacy didn't need the undisputed title. He was already the man at 147. An extra alphabet trinket was irrelevant.

With that said, immediately after the Pacquiao fight, the WBO tried to flex their muscle at him and told him he needed to vacate his WBA and WBC belts at 154 plus pay a sanctioning fee to the WBO in order to keep his WBO 147 belt. Mayweather obviously wasn't gonna be strongarmed by anyone, let alone the WBO, like that. The WBO stripped him shortly after that fight. Even if he had done everything the WBO was telling him to do, they would have immediately ordered Mayweather-Bradley as Bradley was the WBO interim champion which would have muddied the waters for the undisputed unification as well.

Only an 1diot would think that Floyd ducked Brook who never had any momentum with all his injuries, layoffs and tune up fights.

A fight with Brook was never on the radar or even discussed.

                Brook would say the same.

Andre Berto is a better fighter than Kell Brook in all honesty. Definitely has a deeper resume. Brook got ruined by Hearn and we never got to see him fulfil his potential but he’s massively overhyped by fans when looking back. His only decent “win” is Porter and that’s a very questionable win IMO.

I maintain to this day Brook never beat Porter, a lot of revisionism with that fight as if Brook ripped the belt away from him. He jabbed and grabbed all night and got a favourable decision IMO. Even the Sky commentary team scored that fight to Porter.

watch that fight again. Brook sweeped the first 5 rounds against Porter easily.

not sure if Berto has a better win than that
