Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder Trilogy - Aftermath Review and Reflection

Hey guys, I just feel that the obvious corruption involved in this trilogy rules Fury-Wilder III out from making the list of ATG HW clashes.
I just wanted to give you all a better perspective on Tyson's two long counts by crook Russell Mora in the 4th round. I wanted to focus on the second count : here I present that Mora lead Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder to the wrong corner in the second fall. The opposition that argues in favor of Tyson Fury have blamed Deontay Wilder for the long-count, claiming the cause for such costly defining moments in the 4th round was Wilder's fault ; clearly not so.
Notice that Wilder is headed to the neutral corner as Russell Mora yanks his left-arm with such force that it turns and misdirects Wilder to the opposite corner? Then referee Mora begins a dragged-out count, but suddenly stops to redirect Wilder to the neutral-corner.
This critical 'error' by Russell Mora poses the question, did Russell Mora save Tyson Fury? The long-count is not in question, everyone noticed it, but what has gone unnoticed is how Russell Mora's 'mistakes' benefited Tyson Fury not only in the 4th but throughout the contest, and arguably changed history -- just like Jack Reiss had done before when Tyson should of been ruled KO in the 12th round of Wilder-Fury I.Comment

Fury-Wilder III was an ATG HW fight. Before we decide who, if anyone, is a generational great from this era, we need to see Usyk-Joshua II, Fury-Whyte, winners fight each other, and Wilder come back and see what he has left.
There's a lot more boxing to be done at HW before this era goes into the history books.Comment

I provided a valid sound argument that Russell Mora's mistakes may have cost Deontay Wilder a KO victory in the 4th round. The video evidence supports my position, personal attacks does not invalidate my point of view.Comment

What now you are clinging to Usyk? Wilder failed you so turn on him and now an Usyk fan? What happens when he loses? Who you gonna jump on the bandwagon of next? Keep making a joke of yourself. At the end of the day Fury is the best HW in the world and it drives you insane.Comment

Tyson Fury was following the refs count and responding accordingly. There was nothing to suggest Fury could not get up. The second knock down was more of a tangle really. The first one was big. Nash out.Comment

I asked you if you would respect Deontay Wilder if he continued to claim that Tyson cheated him by poisoning him and using a egg-weight against him, you ducked the question. Why don't you answer it for us right now?Comment

Your reply is irrelevant to Russell Mora's botched job on October the 9th. However, I would agree with you that Tyson Fury would of risen on Mora's count, considering that it takes Russell Mora around 20 seconds to count to 10.Comment

"The fact is, Fury is the best of this era and he will cement that further still should he wind up with victories over Oleksander Usyk, Joshua or both." Nope. Until he beats Usyk itīs just an educated guess. Iīm not even saying I disagree, but beating a big puncher who canīt box is no guarantee of beating a master boxer whoīs not a big puncher. The trilogy was great entertainment and a showing of grit, but thatīs all it was.
Your post suggests (it is loaded) that Fury will either lose or duck Usyk.
Fury is at the pinnacle of his career, albeit one slowed by the pandemic and rematch obligations and he beat the top guys in the division - Wladimir and Wilder.
Prior to the trilogy conclusion, Fury was set to fight AJ, the other “King” at HW and yet according to you, all that is not enough until he beats Usyk.
So, when Fury beats Usyk (and Joe Joyce, AJ and Whyte), will you speak favorably of him or will your hate continue?
This is a simple question that does not require a protracted debate. All I see here is negativity directed at Fury because you and many others simply do not like him.Comment

Truer words have never been spoken.
There was literally nothing to suggest Fury couldn’t get up. Now look at Wilder in the 2nd fight - it was obvious then that the ref was right in stopping the fight YET these same idiots are butthurt over “slow” counting because it wasn’t their idol on the floor.
They still believe Wilder was robbed. I think Roy Jones count in his KO loss to Tarver was too fast BUT I’m honest enough to know Roy was saved from a brutal beating so it was the right call. And I love Roy.
