Wallin gave a good account of himself against Fury when Fury was at his worst. You have to remember how much Fury's dad criticised his own son's physical state in that fight. And it was that poor showing by Fury (against Wallin) that led to the departure of Ben Davison and the switch to Kronk SugarHill as trainer. But people seem to forget all that when talking about Wallin's successes against Tyson Fury.

Fury definitely wasn't prime but it was his 5th fight back from his retirement and he had outboxed Wilder in the first fight by the time he fought Wallin. I'd argue that it was both the 12th round with Wilder and the Wallin fight that convinced Fury to adjust his style for the Wilder rematch.

Wallin's performance against Fury provided him the Breazeale fight and he thoroughly dominated the American. I like Wallin and I think he has some traits and skills that make him a tricky fighter (southpaw stance, toughness, some athleticism, nice jab and combinations). There are plenty of questions to be answered and the Whyte fight should tell us where he's at in the HW hierarchy.

After the greatness of Wilder-Fury III and Joshua activating his rematch clause, people are starting to sleep on Usyk again. Wouldn't be surprised if the bookies are close to even on fight night. April 4 would put us almost 6.5 months out from the first one. I wonder if there will be any drama with setting a location for the fight.
