I'm not getting this point of view that he's the best and may as well call it quits if he can't get aj. It looks like he's probably the best of this era but he's got 3 very good wins, only the 1 defence.

Surely everyone should want him to stay in the game longer, make multiple defences then bow out. Just because he would be a favorite in every fight he's in doesn't mean those fights aren't worth watching there's lots of tough fights out there for him.

why retired, usyk-AJ winner is an easy fight for him, he unifies all 4 belts. THEN retire.

wilder atleast had a punchers chance on him. AJ or usyk i see as guaranteed wins for fury. not only does he make good money out of it but it also improves his legacy.

Best fighter p4p in boxing is Usyk. He just proved that beating a guy much much larger than him in AJ. Too smart for anyone but Fury is almost his equal in that regard. Still, even with Fury's huge size advantage, Usyk would beat up Fury, but only if he can get in and get out unmolested.

Beating up a mentally deficient and immature person like Wilder doesn't prove much, because of how overrated Wilder is. So many weak uncultured people built up Wilder to be so much more than he was, it's pretty pathetic how the boxing establishment pushed that Colin Kaepernick narrative.

GTFOH with your unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.
fury wilder 3 obviously. why would usyk or ruiz go for a fix they are not occult establishment and have more to gain winning?

He's levels above most people in the history of the sport but you'll reach for any straw to argue he's overrated because for some unknown reason, Fury being #1 genuinely affects you.
“No version of wlad beats fury” what does that mean exactly?
which version of fury genuinely beat McDermott in their first fight? Fury was soundly beaten fair and square. Had it have not been for frank warren and his
pupeteers, that would have been a loss on his card along with the first “long count” fight with wilder.
fury has two decent wins on his card and both against the same man and fair play for that, but to remain the heavyweight champion of the world for as long as wladimir klitchko is miles ahead from where fury is at the moment. Furthermore, the majority of the time in which fury has held a belt or belts, he’s made one defence! Against wilder.
wilder: a fast handed swinger with primitive boxing skill by comparison to wladimir klitchko. He would have likely been kod in any fight against klitchko.
it’s about who’s on what level and when so your opinion or theory or dream only really makes sense in your head because the reality is fury bored everyone to sleep by thrown but a dozen non lethal punches and acted like a clown. Shockingly, he got the nod for the foolery in Germany!
that wasn’t boxing and was definitely not wladimir klitchko. Fury had a lucky night plain and simple.
then, chose to bum out for one reason or another, get fat etc etc etc and make NO defences of the titles which he actually boasted about having after they were taken from him for either, drugs misuse or fail8ng to fulfill obligations as per a champs duty to fight the next man WHICH, he didn’t.
the only “version” of wladimir klitchko that loses to fury is the one that does nothing and freezes, that man, is the one who lost to fury because history, records, opposition faced, longevity as champ and technical ability says the big klit would be fury in any other version of himself.

I have a question, why do you post your list of favourite fighters?

Beating wilder when 40 couldn't is a very good win for fury. But if usyk and Josh also beat wilder than the win won't be as good and fury claiming to be best of era wouldn't hold s much weight.
frochnsays he wouldn't be surprised if fury retired but many would be surprised and it would seem quite right random and out of the blue

Ultimately it’s a question of what you value more. Is it winning a few super fights or a string of wins against the lower half of the top 10?
You list only 2 top guys(!). Even Fury said Wlad was old before he fought him. AND Fury ran from the Wlad rematch. He's hardly Ali.

AJ is FIVE years behind Fury in his career. Fury should have way more big names on his resume by now.

I don't see why it's too much to ask for Fury to fight the best guys in the division. If Fury is so good - what are you scared of? Why Pianeta, Schwarz and Wallin? (Wallin was ranked 33 when Fury picked him)

You made my point for me. Fury’s resume is top-heavy with two guys (an old Wlad and Wilder) while AJ has fought way more top-10 guys. So we actually agree.

No chance. WAY too much money on the table for Fury to walk away.
