This message is a decent start but Wilder needs to either publicly retract all of the cheating accusations or double down on them because it's extremely hypocritical to act like everything is fine with Fury after making such serious allegations for over 1.5 years.

      That is classic damage control.

Wilder was favorized to beat Fury in first fight because Fury had looked like **** in his comeback fights.

Wilder`s mission obviously didn`t go well, but let`s not pretend two KO losses are "great memories" for him?

Wilder and Fury go separate ways from now on. Wilder still can make some nasty KO wins, but fighting worse competition and not for WBC belt.

A lot of kids and incels talking about “wilder needs to do this and wilder needs to do that…” blah blah blah. As a close friend of mine from the Army, outstanding black NCO, said he “doesn’t need to do anything but stay black and die.” I can think of nothing more nerdy than going on social media abs ranting about what wilder needs to do. Great that he can say all this but he didn’t “need” to, he did it because he wanted to. He was the one in the fight not you little nerds. Ain’t nobody demanded an apology or anything else after fury got his hand slapped for trying to renege on his contracted third fight. I swear lol…

This is boxing, not a kissing contest. Wilder is what we all perceive and Fury is also. Can't help but think there's something a little off in Wilder. He sure doesn't take losing well.

Yeah but even so i would like them to be on good terms one day Fury seemed actually quite upset that Wilder didn’t give mutual respect and think he would appreciate it. Underneath all the press conference antics i think Fury is a sensitive guy tbh.

I struggle to believe these are his words or all his words and that he freely and willingly wrote them but that's just me being cynical. Either way they are good words, a positive spin and I'm sure Tyson Fury will appreciate the kind words towards him and his victory.

It's took nearly a week and plenty of criticism towards his lack of respect shown to Fury but we got something that isn't a long list of excuses and this is what we been asking of Wilder.

Maybe not to the level of Barrera/Morales (teamed up on their own podcast - which is awesome btw), lol... But I agree.

I’m SOOOO glad he didn’t mention any excuses, I was certain he was gonna start talking about the long count in round 4, but he’s now gained my respect.

Im a Deontay fan now, he’s gonna clean out the entire division! Let’s go Deontay!

i would love it if at some stage in the future, Deontay and Tyson got together and chilled, I feel like they would be good friends and get along.
