Better for boxing, Mayweather win or Marquez win?

What do you think is better for the sport? If Mayweather keeps his undefeated record or Marquez upsets Mayweather? Discuss.

    Easily Mayweather

    1. It could lead to a super fight...Mayweather-Cotto/Pac
    2. Marquez wins he probably tries to fight Pac a third time...outside of that where does he go? Stay at 147? Go back to 135? 140?
    3. Mayweather is much more well known than Marquez and was considered P4P#1 before he left...and is considered an ATG

Marquez is gettin up there in age...I don't know how much longer Floyd will stick around but he's better for longevity and popularity of the sport

Mayweather winning ofcourse. Because it sets up the biggest super match of the past 10-20 years (Mayweather vs. Pacquaio)

We need Mayweather to win this one, boxing needs people like Mayweather to pull it through when there's no other clearly OUTSTANDING competitors to take over once he's gone.

I also agree. If Mayweather loses this one, I don't think he'll ever fight again and we need him in the sport.

From a pure fan's standpoint, not thinkin about $ and the 'business' of boxing, I'd luv to see the warrior slay the cherrypicker in this one. It'd be a helluva story. Guys wit JMM's heart are gr8 for boxing and its fans, and it'd be the **** to see him elevate to a higher level.
I actually think a Mayweather-Pac bout would be entertaining...Pac is gonna force Floyd to fight like Hatton did. Foyd's never faced a hellacious southpaw who can keep it up...Pac has never fought a defensive wizard with radar-like accuracy who can adapt to anything in the ring...

Pac-Marquez 3 would be entertaining but Marquez isn't gettin any younger...those guys are made for each other...any fight between them would be close

Mayweather. Floyd against the winner of Cotto/Pac would be the best thing for boxing along with the super six tourny in the past 10 years.

JMM has had two close disputed fights with Pac, and while a third should happen, frankly it can wait as everybody wants Floyd to face him.

I want to see JMM humble Floyd as a fan. As far as the interest of boxings future, it would be best for Floyd and Cotto for that matter to bad ko JMM and Pac to discourage the notion that catch weights are ok and not dangerous.

If Pac beats Cotto he's a top WW...in my opinion at least
