It looks like Canelo will be staying with the Al Haymon, the PBC and Showtime for awhile. The other bidders like Top Rank and Matchroom just cannot match his guarantee.

The whole point of being beholden to no-one is thay he is (wait for it) beholden to no-one. This means he can get fights with everyone without the barriers of who is aligned with whom. Which is good for boxing, the fans and for Canelo. If the fighters he wants to beat are with PBC, then he'll work with Haymon. If they're with someone else, he'll be working with the someone else.
