The WBC publicly confirmed it was Whyte who refused to fight when the WBC ordered Whyte and Fury in a final eliminator. The WBC publicly stated Whyte filed a petition demanding he be named mandatory without ever fighting a final eliminator.

Fury wanted to fight Joshua because it was silly money for an easy fight, but unfortunately Deontay took Tyson to court to prevent it.

Fury is happy to fight Whyte, but we both know that Dillian is about to turn down another title shot due to his greed.
