I agree unless you’re actually proven to face the best they’re are some guys doing that but most are not.
Promoters need to start underpaying their fighters

That's a f***ing weird way of saying you would rather the promoters pockets get lined than the fighters. The money will come in regardless, it's just a case of who gets it. I'd rather that money go to the guy getting his head knocked in, than the guy on the sidelines. Don't like the fights being made? Don't watch them, then the money isn't as big.
To be fair though, anything with a Charlie Zelenoff label attached to it is bound to be garbage - opinions included.Comment

Back in my day, boxers weren't getting paid millions to beat up bums and then price themselves out when their told it's time to step up. Today's boxer's are privileged and business should go back to the old way, where if you fight buns you only get five figure pay days and if you want that big money you should step up and fight the best. That's a f***ing weird way of saying you would rather the promoters pockets get lined than the fighters. Funny since Deontay Wilder just did what you said - step up and fight the best - and went to war despite the payday.

Maybe, just maybe, it's not the payday at all.
Maybe you just fake fighters out there.Comment

I agree. Eddie Hearn was pretty open about this in an iFL interview, breaking down the purse splits from the main events to the prelims. You can end up with a mismatch main event getting 80% of the purse, and a fight on the undercard that is a 50-50, pick 'em, show stealer, getting like 3-4%. Not cool. Eddie even said, he's had main event fighters (ie. Dereck Chisora) find out how much money is in his pot, and then demanding more money or the main event doesn't happen. In this scenario, Eddie has to cut the pay of the fighters on the undercard, who are already receiving a tiny percentage.Comment

I would be up for them lowering their PPV prices
nobody else has to pay to watch their sports except boxing and mma fans
