That was before the two brutal beatings he just sustained and almost 4 yrs ago now,20lbs of muscle had/has very little to do with that. Not unreasonable to believe we just witnessed the prime beat out of him now. After Baranchyks brutal beating/Ko against Zepeda, that man is a shell of himself. Not every situation plays out the same but I'd say the possibility of Wilder coming back and getting wrecked by the first Top 10 HW he steps in with is significantly higher post Fury 2&3.
I really don’t want Wilder to retire

One of the reasons I want to see wilder fight is not to see him get hurt or beat. I just want to know who can survive his punch. I want to know who in top ten does he only need to be perfect for 2 seconds against?
Yes, he came up short against the top man but so would just about everyone. So there's lots of butts to add to his ko highlight reel.
But in my heart I feel there are a few who could beat him. Could take his punch and smile and give it back. Hope wilder hands are okLast edited by hugh grant; 10-13-2021, 03:57 PM.Comment
