There are about 10 more undefeated HW champions than Rocky if you expand to boxing open ended rather than limiting to modern boxing. None of them are pure boxers. Pure boxing's best shot at producing a single unbeaten HW champion in 3k years of boxing is Fury and by his own mouth he needed to gain punching techniques to maintain his wins.

That alone is reason enough to be incapable of learning how boxing is always superior.

What era is it this newfangled way of fighting by avoiding dominated the puncher? None, that never happened. boxing made fighters and gyms richer. That's it.

So on one hand you've over double digits in untouchables, all punchers, on the other you have none but they were able to hype themselves even higher than the untouchables. Never actually dominated just made boxing more money, on the other hand the domination of punchers encompasses an entire rule set most falsely claim was without defense when the facts are defense got just dominated.

What I am saying is history favors the puncher and it isn't even close. Boxers dominate punchers like how Pac-Man is an 8 division champion; through semantics and bull****.
