Like I said, I WANTED to see Clottey winning cus if anything I like him more than Cotto as I'm from Brooklyn and trained in Gleasons where Clottey used to train and like I said I gave the Cotto/Mosley fight to Mosley but I just couldn't see it. I mean I guess some of the closer rounds could have went either way but Clottey is just not active enough and gave away too many rounds which is crazy to me because
    1. he seems to never get tired
    2. he seems to never get hurt

So why is it that he seems so scared of Cotto and scared to throw punches then? Yes most of Cotto's punches were landing on the guard but he was still being far more active and that's what judges look for. Anyone can throw an odd jab here and there and land it flush but you have to prove your warrior spirit and be active and throw combinations, Clottey didn't do that in my eyes.

I'm guessing you don't watch much Clotey fights. He never throws much. He is a precision based counter puncher. also he is the only one who was landing consistent shots in that fight. He outlanded Cotto by a wide Margin and his connect percentage was way higher. Also Cotto was running from him, and he has troube with runners.

I had it 114-113 for Cotto.

Only because he was the busier man.
Clottey could have won easily had he thrown more punches in the late rounds but was just blocking some and taking some.

I had it 114-113 for Cotto as well.

Next time Clottey wants to win a fight he has to learn how to throw punches in teh 11th and 12th.
How do you throw punches at someone who is constatly running. Clottey was in no reach, in the 11th and 12th round. Anyway, I thought Clottey clearly won, close but clear win for Clottey.

Amen to that. Wtf was Clottey supposed to do? When Cotto fought like a man in the middle of the ring he got outboxed and punished so he started running. Clottey was doing his best chasing him down, but Cotto wouldn't engage his damn self.

Well it's true Cotto ran a little bit but it's arguable that he was running because he couldn't see out of his eye, and the reason for that ofcourse is that Clottey headbutted the **** out of him.

115-112 Clottey......if Cotto fought the SAME fight Clottey fought he would have won a UD and NOT a SD imo!!!

There was only one bunt in the fight, and from the replay you could see it was 100 percent accidental. both wer throwing hooks at the time, and both lunged in. Cotto got the worst of it. It could have been Clottey cut.
