He took a gamble with the glove switch and it almost paid off but ultimately backfired. Such a drastic change in gloves at the last minute was crazy though.

The gloves are there to protect your hands and it's really alarming that the NSAC had to explain all this to a professional boxer of 13 years.

Wilder should've knew they'd destroy his hands, he's been sponsored by Everlast and consequently using MX since Beijing he switched to Powerlock after the Washington fight for a reason.

Wilder is just dumb he couldn't comprehend how Fury seemed to show increased power from the first to second fight, probably not realising that being on the front foot compared to the backfoot has a dramatic impact on his "power", so he probably assumed the "dodgy gloves" were the reason.
