He needs a good tuneup up stay busy fight with a gatekeeper. Someone who is not a bad fighter but someone who is clearly past their prime like an Adam Kownacki type. Wilder needs to get back into the win column. I think a fight with Anthony Joshua in the Fall of 2022 with be a good scrap.
a joshua vs wilder fight will not happen. That ship sailed along time ago. I think fury vs aj will happen first before wilder is even a thought in hearn's head.

Please refrain from using contorted logic to project some nonsense on to me.

Wilder suffers back-to-back losses and you conclude this mean he beats anyone in the division apart from Tyson Fury. And if I don't join you in this delusion and celebrate this guy who, let's not forget, just lost, then I appreciate guys who don't try to win. Spare me.

The whole narrative about Wilder is that he just needs that one punch to knock someone out. Well, he got two big punches on Fury, sent him to the canvas twice, and then proceeded to get battered. Seems to me that he had no path to victory. Couldn't even bring himself to bring out the windmills when Fury was buzzed.

I'm happy to say -- and have said several times in these boards -- that Wilder deserves credit for the heart and determination he showed on Saturday. But very little credit for how he boxed -- dress it up whichever way you like but he boxed poorly.

This is what your post should look like.

Not 14 lines of rant and one line sandwiched in between more ranting.

Give the man credit and that's all. The rest is not needed. He gave you a fight, like he said he would. The rest doesn't matter - exclude it.

Has Wilder said in what round he broke his hand?

What in the Hell would Eddie has to lose? I mean his guy AJ would have accumulated at least three losses by then and would be nearing or at gatekeeper status. However, you may be right if Tyson Fury is holding all of the belts by that time then Edward would opt for Fury.

You don't seem to understand how discussion boards work. You are not my editor. My opinion is not subject to your revisions, especially when your revisions censor out plain fact like Wilder losing because he was the inferior boxer.

It's a simple equation: credit where credit is due, criticism where criticism is due. I give him credit for his heart and determination. I criticise him for being a poor sport. I observe he boxed poorly. There's no point in mentioning one without the other, as that would just be bias one way or the other.

There was no rant. Rant suggests being uncoupled from the facts. Like saying my post was 14 lines long when it was 8 lines long. Pure hyperbole.

I'm sure Luis Ortiz or Bermane Stiverne will be waiting by the phone.

I mean, at one point they had to put pins and screws on it so I think it really was that bad.

That old hand has been broken so many times, it's just about reached its expiration date.

But after it heals, Deontay, if you could do us a favor and break it one last time, right on AJ's face.
