So it appears that Whyte is now the man to defeat Tyson Fury

Did i say i wanted Fury to duck Whyte?
I said that NSB experts are now claiming that Whyte would KTFO Fury, just like they predicted McDermott to beat him, just like they predicted Chisora to beat him, twice, just like they predicted Wlad & Wilder to KO him with ease.
Fury is levels above guys like Whyte, as I've been saying for nearly a decade. Fury beats everyone, and haters are just gonna have to get over the fact that a fat gypsy is the best HW of this era.Comment

The goals post have never changed because from day 1 I said he has to act like a champion and defend against his number 1 challenger and up to this point he has not done that.
what is so difficult to understand about it.
I dont care about whyte and I couldn’t give a **** about him it’s more of a champions duty that if he holds that belt he has to defend against all comers and not just 1 fighter in 3 years
surely you want to see Tyson fight his top challengers and beat them ?
You do not carry a belt around your waist and not fulfill your obligations as a champion end of story and as I said if usyk is tied up in a rematch with Joshua which he is who else is fury going to fight.
i have never rated wilder as the best in the division and fury fighting him after not fighting for over 2 years and then trying to dodge his mandatory will not cut it with me.
even with Joshua I said if usyk is mandatory he has to fight him if he wants to keep the belts and Joshua did.
it’s time fury did the same and stop defending him for trying to dodge itLast edited by The plunger man; 10-12-2021, 10:31 AM.Comment

Fury has to prove it though. He's only better than who he's beaten. Joshua for sure has beaten better quality than Fury. But he still has lots to prove. In my opinion Usyk beats them all. But he still has to prove it also. And for the record I think Whyte beats Fury. But not them all. He is all wrong for Fury. And big John knows it. But Whyte has to prove that also.
As for Joshua, his best win is still Fury's sloppy seconds.
You're very much in the minority opinion.Comment

Fury is already trying to get out of fighting the Wallin Whyte winner. I'm sure if Wallin wins, Fury will have no problem fighting him. but if Whyte wins, all of a sudden Fury will make up 100 reasons as to why he cannot fight Whyte. That is why is keep calling Fury a fraudulent champion. Yes he fought and beat Wilder but name another top 10 fighter he beat. Chisora? Who has 11 losses? Like other guys said here. If Fury drops the belt instead of facing Whyte. It is a duck. Nothing more. And from the sounds of it, he's already setting it up to be that way.Comment

Possibly. All this I'm the greatest of my era BS will be his excuse to not fight anymore as he'll claim the others are not worthy. His Dad has already said as much, by saying its Usyk or nobody. I feel a sharp exit coming on. If he wants to be the best, he has to clean the division out. All he's beaten is an overrated, protected Wilder. You don't get bonus points for continually beating the same guy.
See my sig, Fury is #1 by TBRB, Boxrec, Ring and any other ranking list out there.
Beating a bum like Whyte means very little.
Fury could retire tomorrow and still go down as the best HW of this era, and if he beats Usyk to unify then it isn't even a debate.Comment

Anybody can be the self proclaimed best fighter of there era but if you don’t face and beat the best in that division then others will argue with it.
Lewis was the best of his era because he beat all the top fighters of his era in Holyfield , Tyson , ruddock , klitchcko etc.
Tyson as champion has only beaten wilder , but as of yet has proven he can beat whyte , usyk or Joshua.
If he don’t face whyte and refuses to face him then he gets stripped like any other champion who refuses to face the number 1 contender that’s how it works

I just feel he is. He has freakishly long arms, to nullify Furys dancing away from him. And he can box, as opposed to Wilder who can't. Joshua still beat the same guy and a better version, so that cancels that out. All Fury is living off if is 2 names and Joshua has one of them. He should try proving he's great rather than claiming it. If he does that then fair play to him, but until then, he's got a lot of work to do.Comment
