    Wilder wasn't always like this

Before he won the title from Stiverne, Wilder seemed like a relatively humble, pleasant, likable guy in interviews, a student of the game. Boxing to save his young daughter. I supported him back then.

After he won the title however, his whole personality changed. Dude became very arrogant, always talking about how he's the hardest puncher in history, baddest man on the planet, king of black people, black power, blablabla. Believing in his own hype.

If he would have stayed humble, maybe he wouldn't have ended up like this.

    - -A few female assault charges against him likely bought off by his minders.

      don't argue with results

being delusional worked out in his favor

he brainwashed himself into success with conspiracy theories following the 2nd fight

No one would have expected a guy who was just destroyed to fight that well in an immediate rematch

I think he was just selling fights.

He seems like a genuinely good guy to me.

What a weird thing to say

Sensing some racial undertones with that disgusting comment

Yeah it's sad. An identity crisis that ultimately turned self destructive. Internalizing Furys trash talk probably didn't help.

He always came off as a genuinely good guy. Kinda like Tank.

but lately he’s been on some BS

I used to be a fan until he started with all this race stuff and excuse bull****. Don't care who it is, there is no room for any kind of race garbage in sports, or in the world really.

It’s called public persona and selling fights.

I doubt he’s running around at home screaming “bomb squad” and calling himself a king when he’s with his kids.

Same as I doubt Fury is walking around his neighbourhood calling people dossers and saying he’s going to knock them spark out.

they’re in the entertainment industry and they understand that. That’s why they’re on PPV.
