Given he was creating such an issue about the gloves beforehand, I have no idea why he didnt just pick up a pair of the Paffens that Fury was wearing and get on with it.
He didn't hurt his hands - his punching power is just grossly overrated.
The MX glove is also the puncher's glove and the fact that he was knocking people out with the padded ones and couldn't do it with the puncher's gloves show those KOs where he sparked people like Breazeale, Ortiz and Stiverne with one punch were scripted. Those were the fights that exaggerated his power.
Funnily enough, all those guys are PBC guys.
Wilder is a fraud! I'm also hearing that PBC paid Haye to help them propagate the falsehood.

He used the same horsehair gloves that Fury used albeit the Everlast ones.
Wouldn't have made much difference. By the time that he broke his hand (the 8th round) he was totally gassed anyway.
Tbh I'm surprised that he got enough force into the punches by then to break any bones, but you could clearly see that he'd done it because he held his right hand with his other hand in the 8th.
He's a moron for using those gloves when he's hurt his hand fighting in them in the past.
Even Andre Ward on the commentary team expressed surprise that a fighter at this stage of his career wouldn't be dead certain of what glove he needed to wear for a fight of this magnitude.
Wilder won just one round on three of the judges’ scorecards from the sixth round on and was not effectively using his equalizing right hand, a development also discussed during the live television broadcast by Hall of Fame heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis.
