Wilder's overtraining reason he looked bad

Wilder weighed 213 for the first fight and did not get knocked down. He had decent balance and agility to knock Fury down. Fight 2 he is 231 and looks to be all muscle added in his upper body. He came up with a book full of excuses for losing but never even appeared to hurt Fury and looked fatigued very early as he claimed was from his costume among other reasons. Now I read a day before the fight that he is 238 and appears to be added weight in his torso. If someone puts a 25 weight pack on their back they will see what a difference it makes in balance and agility, not to mention endurance. So nominate Malik Scott for trainer of the year. Who knows what kind of training Wilder does for this legs. He reminds me of the tough man contests in the 80's where these guys that look like him thought they could step in the ring and beat up everyone. At least they only had one or two minute three rounder's. Somebody should tell Wilder and his team that they are fighting 12 three minute rounds.

Fury claims Wilder did his best in the third fight which is major bs and which can be expected from Fury. If there is a #4 Fury wants Wilder to be heavy again so he can pick him apart even easier. Scott and Wilder may fall for it so why not throw it out there. As for Fury, he looked like crap and is giving credit to Wilder. Fury was too heavy this summer after partying in Vegas and claimed he had Covid to buy more time to get his weight down. Fury should not have gotten knocked down in the fourth. Bad performances by both fighters may make for an exciting fight but they both looked sloppy and fatigued. Fury's knockdown's were not the result of his power. It was just that Wilder was so gassed that a middleweight would have knocked Wilder down. Fury is a not a power puncher and Wilder is not a finisher. This fight really ****** for skill level. Just two out of shape fighters creating drama.

What would Wilder's performance be if he trained like most fighters, not trying to bench press his opponent? His team doesn't seem to get it. Wilder would have been better copying something from the Andy Ruiz playbook and added 25 pounds of fat. It would have been less harmful to his performance than adding useless muscle.
