Based on the eye test he's been dropped 6 times in 4 fights which is more than most top heavyweights. And as you've just pointed out he's beaten 1 top ten guy of the current lot.

What impressed me the most about Fury is that he changed his style so drastically. There was just shades of the guy that made you miss and peppered you. Instead we saw a guy ok with eating monster bombs so he could land monster bombs. This enables him to deal with such a broad range of styles and therefore far more dangerous to everyone out there.
“I am the best of the era”. Funny how this gives everyone license to say all kinds of mean things. Bazar boner move from so many critical folks!

Joshua or Usyk would bring him work and I'd love to see those fights but Fury would have to be seen as a big favourite.
Of the current lot ( post Wlad ) he's only beaten Wilder. For all we know 3 or 4 others in the top ten might beat Wilder also. Usyk, AJ, Ruiz Whyte and Joyce, all could potentially beat Fury. He's done nowhere near enough to make that claim based on one decent scalp, who has ducked everyone and has a padded record.

He has to face more than Wilder in this current era for me. Let them all face each other before running to these definitive conclusions.

Wlad and Vitali were previous era. When Fury beat Wlad it was the end of that era and the start of this present one. So in this present one he's beaten Wilder. That's it. There's still several better names for him to fight in order to clear out the division and substantiate his claim. But I congratulate him on talking a significant first step. He's definitely better than Wilder.

Yep, I guess credit must be due to Suger Hill and the Kronk crew. Much more entertaining stylistically, and takes the pencil pushers out of the equation.
