Why can most boxing fans never just admit they were wrong?

I see so many on here who picked Wilder now just turning around and saying Usyk will beat Fury or some other diversion tactic.

I have so much more respect for those who can just come out and give credit where its due and admit they got a pick wrong (which we all do sometimes) but it's like they take personal offence to the fact they got it wrong.

I was wrong and lost a million dollars because of it. Fury won fair and square. Congratulations to him and his fans.

I did have a gut feeling that Wilder would catch Fury this time. I suppose it was partly because I was subconsciously trying to get hyped up to see them do this again, and partly because I didnt believe the trilogy could end up being that ****ing pathetically one sided. But here we are.

I picked Wilder to win only bc I bet Wilder. Furu is clearly the better man and had won 17/19 rounds through two fights.

Couldnt be happier Wilder lost. Dude is a child and an imbecile. Alrdy making excuses and cant be humble. Hopefully Fury fights him a 4th time and "takes a body" like Deontay said he wanted to do
