I think he's just milking the moment saying this. The evidence of his actions says differently. Firstly he tried to avoid this fight. However he seems to have a thing for a trilogy with Chisora, so perhaps he's anticipating that to be a better trilogy lol.

It was a great trilogy and although Wilder was out punched, out boxed and out classed he still almost got the KO
You just pretty much summed up the trilogy. Knowing that Wilder has that right hand weapon makes the whole thing that much more intriguing.

No heavyweight today is on the level of those warriors from the 90s. That was the second best era of heavyweights in the divisions history. Tyson is the best of a very weak era of heavyweights however that doesn’t mean it isn’t entertaining. But Lewis, Tyson, foreman, Holmes, Holyfield, Moorer, Bowe, and even the contenders like mercer, Morrison, Ruddock, Tua, Ibeabuchi, Stewart, and holdovers from the champions for a day era like Dokes, Tucker, and even lesser champs like McCall, Bruno, Maskaev, Rahman, etc etc make it very hard for me that the guys around now would have survived that era as contenders

Yes, Barrera v Morales were great action fights at a high skill level. Another great trilogy was Rafael Marquez vs Israel Vazquez (they actually fought 4X but the final fight was Vazquez's last and due to injuries he wasn't the same fighter).

The 90s was garbage. I was watching boxing in the 90s. You listed a ton of journeyman there who would not be top 40 today . The 90s was poor. 99 was good Holyfield vs Lewis twice. Nash out.

It doesn't even rank on the ATG trilogy in any div.

HW 3's+ (that I know of)-
                  Bowe vs Holy
                  Ali vs Frazier and Norton
                  Patterson vs Inge
                  Walcott vs Charles
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  ..
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  Fury vs Wilder

If we are going strictly on laughs and sloppiness, then it is the best of the bunch.

The trilogy has definitely had its moments but it wasnt competitive at all, and the level of skill and athleticism on display wasnt particularly high.
Why don’t you get in the ring and do better dip****…….anyone who truly knows pro boxing knew and knows that wilder is not and will never be technically sound in this sport…..his power and the fact that he has some athletic ability is what got him this far as well as facing lower tier fighters….fury was damm near born into the sport and has spent predominantly his entire life studying and working the craft of boxing……they both gave their blood sweat and tears in that ring and they both deserve respect……it was as competitive as could be knowing that wilder possesses very little skill compared to true boxers and when out there and gave it all he had which wasn’t compared to a more elite level fighter in fury….step your ass in the ring with 277 and let me know s see just how well you do…..these guys didn’t ask to live in an era where there happens not to be a great deal of great talent in their heavyweight division….may possibly be the worst era we are witnessing….either way it takes real men to get in that ring and do what these two did……great fight besides fury holding wilders head down to uppercut him as well as grabbing spinning and punching wilder

Thanks for that long stream of consciousness paragraph of bollocks, but it doesnt change anything I said, it was a low skilled, uncompetitive trilogy that nobody really asked for and not, as Fury proclaims, as good as any trilogy ever, not even when it comes to HWs.
