I took a little time out to savour that gif in your sig before replying to this, and you know what mate, I'm reconsidering my opinion on the possibility of Fury decking or even ko'ing Usyk with one punch. He is throwing hooks with much better form now, turning his fist in and locking his arm and wrist before impact to deliver maximum force. Usyk has a great chin, but a punch like that to the temple or behind the ear from a guy as huge as Fury would scramble anybody's brain.

I would favour Fury to win the fight, but I definitely think Usyk has a shot. I could see him using his tricky footwork to evade Fury for long enough to land clean punches before getting closed down and mauled. I don't think they would hurt Fury, but if they were the only clean shots landed in an untidy, mauling round, that could be enough to win the round for Usyk. A lot would depend on how the judges interpreted the action and how much wrestling and inside work the ref would allow before calling break and giving Usyk a chance to reset.

Tbh, I'm a little sad that we didn't get a chance to see the lighter, faster, stance shifting, speed jabbing Fury who clowned Wlad pitting his wits and skills against Usyk, rather than Kronk grizzly bear Fury trying to maul him to death!

I wouldn’t underestimate Joshua, he has a knockout punch like Wilder, but he’s technically better than Wilder. Usyk and Joshua are Olympic champions, such should not be underestimated.
So a 34-35 years old still growing? You know at his age, gaining that much weight could be bad, not good. And if at 34-35 years old you don't have one punch ko, you ain't developing Wilder power now.

I have zero doubt he would school Wilder but I still struggle to see how the Fury fight plays out. Which is why I hope we see it. It’s not clear cut.

Usyk has the possibility to win a decision over both, but can stop neither.

Usyk grows in size! He weighed 92 kilograms, moved to the heavyweight category, in the match with Witerspoon 96 kilos, in the match with Chisora 98 kilos, the first match with AJ 100 kilos. The second match with AJ will weigh about 102 kilos, and in the match with Fury Usyk will weigh about 105 kilos.Usyk gains about 5 pounds a year. Muscle mass also brings a stronger punch. AJ was knocked out on his feet in the 12th round. Joshua’s next match will end up on the floor, only some lucky punch can save him.
