Wilder v Ruiz would now be interesting.

It's pretty sad when the formerly premier division, is so weak that even a bum like Fury can stand at the top. This guy would have been ended as a joke in the 90s. I would actually have given him props, but he acted too much like a piece of shlt leading up to the fight. I'm no Wilder fan, but I would rather have spit on him too rather than shake his hand after the fight.
Only a UK piece of trash finds the level of behavior acceptable.Comment

....As far as Deontay Wilder is concerned; He has more than exceeded my expectations as a fighter. He's a Hell of father, a Hell of a fighter and a Hell of a man and i couldn't be more proud of what he has achieved in this sport.
He never got in to boxing to become a Hall of Famer or an all-time great but just to earn enough money for his ailing daughter as a young teenage dad. It's my one only regret that his detractors, critics and haters never took the time or effort to even really get to know him.
Unfortunately; Race hatred, envy and jealousy over his success as a Black American heavyweight.champion is what prevented that from happening.
While an entertaining fighter, he never really moved the needle for me (nor did Fury or AJ for that matter). I find myself supporting guys like Hunter, Anderson, Chisora and Wallin.Comment

That was a walk through fire for Fury. He’s made of asbestos. And more than a little of his own brimstone.
To give Wilder credit, the improvements in his game paid off for a round or two.
But extra weight and still no back foot made him a sitting duck. He soon reverted to type, madly launching his ICBMs like boxing’s Dr. Strangelove. The simple fact is it would have been enough to beat all but one or two other heavyweights.
Now, if we’re lucky, we’ll get the unification soon. It had better not take long. Fury is wearing down, in body and spirit. A trilogy’s worth of eating big right hands — and a lot of fish and chips — are going to make his last stand harder.Comment

What makes you think wilder wouldn’t blast out guys who defeated joshua? When they were ranked way lower than wilder as a heavyweight when they fought him. You can assume that joshua can KO all of wilder’s opponents, but can’t atleast consider that wilder can touch Joshua’s chin when lesser opponents already have.
I wouldn’t go on the who’s who of why the fight didn’t happen as i don’t have intensive knowledge on the matter but i can remember joshua telling his fans to fight wilder themselves. Lmao.
First time I've ever reached common consensus via debate on boxing scene..... BRAPComment

What a war we had last night folks. What a classic. One for the ages. One of those fights you feel blessed to have watched live, tv or in person.
Both fighters stock goes up.Comment
