So far 3 people have voted (Talisayen, Dan..., and Archaic) but none have bothered to give any reasons why they think Pac ranks higher. Come on guys, let me hear your arguments.

Outside of a few users on here most aint probably seen many Conn fights...

Only way to assume is to compare the achievements and level of fighters...but its kinda unfair when you haven't seen any Conn fights...

i didnt vote as i dont know enough about conn too say
i do know he gave up his LHW title in 1941 too challenge joe louis without moving up in weight and was handling him and was ahead after 12 rounds even louis said so himself,got ko'd in the 13th when he went looking for the ko

Conn was a very good fighter who was 175lb champ and fought many names, but Manny is a better fighter. His wins over MAB, Morales, JMM (even though i thought marquez could have got the nod in either) trump Conn's wins over guys like Lesnevich, Zale and Zivic. Manny also rose through the weights in a way we haven't seen since Duran and Armstrong. I'm not a fan of idiotic pac tards claiming he is the ebst fighter ever, but he is a better fighter than Conn was.

Thats fine, I can respect that. Im looking for he guys who would blindly put Pac on a pedestal without actually knowing what they're comparing him too. I figured Conn is a name most have heard of so Paquiao's nuthuggers should have no problem telling me why Manny should be ranked higher. See, things like this aren't so easy when you can't just blurt out where a fighter should be ranked without backing it up.

I recognize the names Tony Zale, Gus Lesnevich, and Solly Krieger...

And Conn going from lightweight to heavyweight is incredible

And he almost beat Joe Louis

I love watching Conn vs Louis and wish their was more footage of him, but I'd say Manny is the better fighter. This version of today, not the left handed little slugger that he once was though
