Will he regret not gaining that extra bulk if fury starts to lean on him like he did in the last fight. Maybe wilder should’ve been training to come in at 250lbs so he could physically match fury on the inside game. If it goes past 3 rounds I think fury starts putting his weight on wilder every chance he gets to try and sap his leg strength. I have to think breland would’ve pushed deontay to be heavier to counter the sheer size of fury so if wilder loses I think it’s fair to put a spotlight on Malik and question his training and tactics.
Wilder is still far too light he should’ve eaten more

grappling on the inside is nothing to do with how much muscle you have or weight, it’s about knowing how to do it and fury knows how to do it. Wilder doesn’t. Wilder could come in at 300lbs and still wouldn’t know how to use it on the inside. It’s something that takes years of practice to do well. Will he regret not gaining that extra bulk if fury starts to lean on him like he did in the last fight. I apologize I had no idea I was typing to a former heavyweight champion that successfully defending his belt multiple times and had more experience than deontay wilder. Obviously you are better skilled than him to know he can’t infight. Again I should’ve known I was writing to a boxing legend I’m sorry.

I don't necessarily agree or disagree with your assessment.
For the longest I always felt that Wilder should have put on weight to be about 240lbs because he has the height and reach for it and his style would benefit from it. His style being that he is really only looking for one punch with very low volume. When that is your style might as well have as much weight into your shot as you can.
That said I don't think that is his issue when it comes to fighting Tyson Fury. His issue is that Fury feints him and draws him into either freezing where Fury pounces on him, or makes him miss and counters. To win Wilder is going to have to be able to read Fury's feints and actually use some feints of his own to set up the right hand which will make Fury second guess it. It is possible to land it from a mile away but his chances increase greatly if he disguises it.
I favored Fury the first two fights and I favor him again. Wilder has a punchers chance but that is the chance he always has.Comment

Still haven't seen Deontay's legs. Maybe he's been doing wind sprints an box jumps by the thousands. If so, maybe there's no downside to weighing about 20 pounds more than his previous optimum.
No matter, Wilder isn't going to win a hug fest with Fury, even the mighty Wlad couldn't do that. Wilder needs to keep moving, not let himself get leaned on.Comment

I agree with most of this but wilder has no chance..if you study the second fight you can tell he can't fight toe to toe ..he reacts badly to every shot he takes instead of coming straight back with his own shot like a true elite champion instead wilder turns away and blinds himself instead of seizing any opportunities a puncher may have against someone with so much more engrained experienceI don't necessarily agree or disagree with your assessment.

Wilder just started boxing far too late and is far too predictable for the likes of fury as long as he stays focused
Just look at poor Luiz ortiz he was dominating wilder in the second fight but got too over confident
The main thing wilder shot be working on is trading if that's possible ..when fuwhenletting his hands go wilder needs to just start swinging...and also his stamina I feel like wilder could have got to fury if he let his hands go but he just can't keep the pace and no wonder nothings straight and everything seems really forced
My prediction is a fury stoppage if wilder really goes for it in the first stages of the fight or a fury points if wilder has been working more on defence
so excitingComment
