According to PBC Tank is the “biggest star” in boxing and does the biggest numbers.lol

again not even close but keep trying.

tickets cost way more in vegas than in texas.

Cheap tickets equal big attendance. Which is why 70,000 people in texas only totaled 9 million. 15,000 in vegas nets more than 10 million.

Wilder vs fury would have sold out in minutes if the tickets were as cheap as canelo vs saunders tickets.

Naw maybe In the UK but Wilder can’t attract crap here in the states.

Also keep in mind Fury/wilder hasn’t sold out they still have plenty seats left.

again neither guy is canelo Aj is a close second but he’s dropping fast.

you can’t be this dense to actually compare attendance numbers for a stadium that has a capacity of 80,000 seats with an arena that has a capacity of 18,000 seats. Of course a stadium will have larger attendance because it more than 4 times bigger. Which overall is irrelevant because making money is the primary objective. Seats in a stadium start at a significantly lower price than the cost for tickets in an arena. And for the record You can 100% fabricate both, attendance and live gate. Matter of fact, it’s much easier to fabricate the attendance numbers. Just admit you made a foolish comment and move on. You’re making yourself look ridiculous by trying to pretend that you’re not wrong. Don’t be that guy.

Who would've thought that 300+ M super-rich Americans would need Brits to fill 18k arena?

The live gate for 90,000 people at Wembley to see Joshua vs Klitschko was around £8-9 million. Which is about $11-12.5 million.

what does Joshua vs Klitchko have to do with this? Typical canelo groupie bringing up something irrelevant to the entire debate because you’re desperate to make a point that you don’t have. Canelo doesn’t do those numbers without Ggg who was already a star that sold out arenas in NYC, LA and in the UK BEFORE fighting Canelo. So your comment can be “fury vs Wilder doesn’t have the appeal of Canelo vs Ggg” but in true groupie fashion, you solely want to give canelo the credit. His numbers vs Jacobs and Saunders are both more recent than his fights with ggg hence more relevant and comparable. Next time stay in your lane.

No surprise, Wilder did over a 4M gate vs Ortiz so of course this fight was going to surpass 10M at the gate. May not reach 17M like the last fight, but should do around 13-15M which is still very good.

What matters more is the PPV buys. Can it surpass 500-600k?

Not a surprise. Before the first fight was postponed ticket sales were really slow.
The second fight they spent a lot if money on promotion including a Super Bowl ad and it didn’t do much better than the first and actually lost money.
Tickets are easy to find all over the arena day of the fight.

Ticket prices are absurd.. a good seat is $2500 per ticket

You opened your mouth to say that if tonight's fight was held in Wembley the live gate would do more. Right?

I just showed you what the numbers for a post-WWII record gate at Wembley look like. And they fall way short of what Canelo has twice drawn at T-Mobile. That's what Joshua vs Klitschko has to do with it. Is that clear enough for you? Or do you still need more help following the logic?

That other poster said that neither Wilder nor Fury are Canelo. And he was exactly right, even if it made you butthurt enough to jump on him for saying it.
