Comments Thread For: Fury-Wilder III Won't Sell Out T-Mobile Arena; Will Still Do 8 Figures In Ticket Revenue

LAS VEGAS - The British aren't coming. That unfortunate fact, according to promoter Bob Arum, is why ticket sales for the third heavyweight title bout between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder aren't quite as robust as for their rematch in February 2020. The United States government's COVID-related travel ban on airline passengers from England and various other countries has prohibited thousands of English boxing fans from flying to the self-proclaimed "Fight Capital of the World" to support Fury for his first defense of the WBC belt he won from Wilder in February 2020.

Maybe should have got some you tubers on the card to attract attention. Or got Hearn to sell them. He could sell a mirror to a blind man.

      The British aren't coming.

The Brits had to decide between supporting A.J or Tyson Fury, the British public decided that Anthony Joshua is their man -- and why would they back Tyson? He hates them, besides, the Gypsy-Bum is getting KO tomorrow.

It's really sad that Americans have to rely on British boxing fans flying across the pond to fill an arena. Why aren't Americans filling the arena for the American Wilder? They must really hate black people over there. Wretched country I reckon.

Eddie’s incel army have at least this to hang their hat on. That the current #4 HW is a bigger draw. Of course the Jonas Brothers and BTS also sell more tickets than any critically acclaimed rock band

Eh...I dunno. I just think the tickets are pricey.

238lbs says he is gassed by the 5th & KO’d in the 6th… should have come in at no more than 220. He dropped him twice at 212 & had no issues going 12. At 231 he was tiring in the 3rd inning…

It's not just that. People are not interested in seeing Fury beat Wilder a third straight time. Yes first fight was ruled a draw but a blind man could see Fury won by UD
