Tank vs Romero just doesn’t interest me in the slightest.

I’m Tank fan, love watching the guy fight but I don’t think he’d even use Romero for sparring in all honesty.

I don’t see this fight being competitive. I don’t think Romero has anything that’ll trouble Tank. They better stack the undercard or I’ll probably pass on watching this.

I’m starting to get frustrated with the guidance of Tank’s career. He’s more than ready for anyone at 130-135, so I just don’t get why they’re wasting time fighting for fake titles vs the likes of Barrios and Romero.

    I share your frustration.

The bold: Please cross reference the following names in any way: Arum/Oscar/Floyd/Hearn. The end result is none do business with each other. Why aren't the others not fighting each other without Gervonta? Nothing is happening with them either (their promoters aren't doing business together). Screw the promoters.

Boxing overall is so frustrating. Hang in there.

I’ve never heard of this Romero guy.

Who’s he fought and is he good?

Greatest of all time. I have to educate you all on this masterful fighter.

This picture sums him up perfectly IMO

Not enough lipstick for that pig for sure...."da build up doe"...gtfo! They could've atleast made the GRJ fight. As undersized as he may be he's 10x's the fighter this guy is and some intrigue as to whether Russell can box tanks ears if without getting caught.

I’m so frustrated with the lightweight division as a whole, all these guys do is talk, none of them fight each other, two are already whining about “mental health problems”. It’s the softest division in boxing.

His best win was against Jackson Marinez but the scorecards were questionable to say the least. Martinez was stopped in 6 by Richard Commey in his next fight so that’s the kind of level we’re talking about.

He did look a bit better in his last fight against Yigit but Yigit is a solid European level guy, Tank is a world class fighter, it’s a massive step up in class that Romero is nowhere near ready for.

I must admit I did enjoy his Devin Haney rant. “Fake ass, Mexico ass, email ass champion, daddy bought you a career…” Great stuff.

This fight is going to sell like crazy I think. Is it a competitive, intriguing matchup to a boxing fan? Not really, no. But the buildup is gonna be entertaining, Rolly is a funny guy. He's gonna have a lot to say about Tank, Floyd, Ellerbe etc. And then we'll all tune in and watch a massacre. I hope the undercard is decent.
