cmon Bro - Was Ko’d by feather-fisted Saunders! Nothing more than a showcase fight ….level of competition should b way beyond this by now.

Lol so because he got knocked out by a 2 division world champion he's a bum? That same Saunders beat Andy Lee, Chris Eubank, John Rhyder, and David Lemieux and he also knocked out Blandamura and Fletcher when they were still undefeated. Who do you expect him to be fighting? That's the problem with you guys and triangle theories Saunders and Berlanga fight nothing alike Berlanga leaves himself too exposed so how can you compare them?

read the post b4 u comment - was speaking of Saunders lack of power which is OBVIOUS to any real fan . Saunders is a skilled boxer and was a legit champ…didn’t state anything to the contrary. This opponent was chosen for a showcase ko in a big ppv undercard…nothing more - no kind of legit “test” of skill.

I read your post that's just your dumbass opinion though where you completely discredited Coceres because he got knocked out by Saunders. An almost 50% KO ratio is not feather fisted dude he's not a KO artist but I guarantee he would lay you out if he landed clean and same goes for any C-B level fighter.

Didn't Saunder need that KO desperately to win?

Well turns out only 1 judge had Corceres ahead on the cards but who knows what would have happened in the championship rounds if BJS didn't hold dude's head down with one hand and throw uppercuts with the other...

First off I'm not your bro second I never said he would beat Berlanga but on paper it will be his best opponent thus far. A former world title challenger that has gone more than 10 rounds before and actually gave a good account of himself against one of the top 168 lbers skill wise. I expect Berlanga to knock him out but regardless of the fashion it finishes it doesn't change the fact that he is still the best opponent on paper he's faced.

Goes to show how much you watch boxing and you got the nerve to question me man if it's not a marquee name they don't matter to you and that's why I could care less about your dumbass opinion like I said. It's ok for Ryoto Murata to make a title defense against Blandamura but when BJS takes his 0 by knockout years before he turns into a can. It's ok for Daniel Jacobs to fight for a vacant title against Jarrod Fletcher but when BJS took his 0 and beat him by knockout years before he was a can. Lol **** is comical to me Gary O'Sullivan was undefeated when Saunders beat him as well yet Lemieux and Munguia both went to face him after they had already been champions. No point explaining any further because you wouldn't even understand but if you think that fighting someone like Coceres in his 18th fight after knocking out most of his early weak opposition isn't a step up ok then Jesse Hart and some random guy I've never heard of both knocked Nicholson out Berlanga couldn't. I don't even rate Berlanga that high he has power but a suspect chin however this is a good fight I could care less if you agree or not after this fight he will fight someone like Doughlin he's not ready for any big names yet his team knows that as well.

Yeah maybe but at the end of the day Saunders won by knockout after hurting him multiple times regardless of the holding. I don't like BJS as a person but he is a skilled boxer otherwise he wouldn't have had such success as an amateur. But you are proving my point if Coceres can be competitive with BJS and possibly was beating him then how is this a bad fight for a green Berlanga?
