Have they said that or is that just your assumption? Wondering about their TV/streaming situation now that I'm seeing they are signing name guys. I would think starting their own "DAZN-like" app will be a costly move.Probellum will have its own digital content similar to DAZN but focus "globally" to include areas such as Asia, eastern Europe, middle east and Africa? They will work with other promotions but also on their own....Interesting.
Hopefully Prograis can get some meaningful fights from this.
The way this thing started I thought Probellum was gonna be working cards that Tim Boxeo talks about more doing Regis, Badou & Stanionis fights so gotta get some sorta TV/streaming agreement soon.Comment

Coppinger put out a story on Probellum back in September on ESPN, "A key initiative, Schaefer said, is Probellum's digital platform, which will deliver original content, shoulder programming surrounding events, and other boxing programming to the sport's global fanbase."

My assumption is that a digital platform delivering original content would be something akin to app of some kind. Not sure if it would be subscription based or what but if you read any of the articles attempting to describe the venture, it sounds both bold and vague. They repeat the phrases "cross-promotional" and "grass roots" and state they will work with any promoter and plan to invest in training facilities around the globe as a sort of farm system. Not much on details however.

Hmmm. How do you do a grass roots digital platform lol?!?! I like the concept & I wouldn't put it past Slick Richard to have a big plan here, but he disappointed me with the whole Ring Star thing so I'mma need to see if before I believe it. That said so far this is looking to have potential bigger than Ring Star ever had so maybe this does have legs & he gots some money behind him to be some world wide boxing promotion with a digital platform to show his, & others, fights.

Seeing folks on twitter suggesting Daniel Kinahan is bankrolling this or has some connection to it. Wonder how true that is or where the money is gonna come from if he's not the money guy. Being that all the guys signed so far have Showtime &/or Haymon connections I wonder if Espinoza &/or Haymon are involved in some way, shape or form too.Comment
