Yes, but that was with his bare knuckle fists with no padding in the gloves. Why don't you just come out and admit that the man cheated the last time? Had his gloves been fully padded then there would have been no way he would have traded toe to toe with Wilder. Otherwise, how can one explain Deontay Wilder's facial and skull fractures in that fight? One does not sustain those type of injuries that he sustained with padded gloves on. They were a result from a blunt forced trauma with an object and in this case it was his Tyson's bare knuckle fists.

Fury is as focused as he's going to get. He's relaxed in the ring, so he really doesn't care what happens and how it happens as long as he does whatever it takes to win. So he won't quit. If he gets knocked down, he'll get right back up and fight harder. Until he can't.

Wilder just understands the boxing "politics" now and will ensure that there are no shenanigans to the best of his ability. That will be enough to allow him to knock Fury down multiple times, punish Fury when Fury attacks and surprise Fury with a shot he doesn't see coming, knocking Fury out cold.

I have a lot of respect for Malik Scott. I follow him on IG and he answers a lot of questions from fans. Scott is insightful, articulate, respectful (even to fans that are rude) and shares thoughts on life that I think are helpful to my own. Scott can guide him in the right direction but only Wilder himself can seal the deal. If Deontay comes in under 230 then I expect him to perform better than before. 220-225 would be ideal IMO because he’s never gonna be as effective at 240+ as Fury is.
