Not really, but he was regarded as an outside contender, maybe top 15. Anyone coming through who is unbeaten is always taken notice of, but he never had massive hype. Nobody was calling for him to fight Fury, Joshua, or Wilder. Helenius is around his level. I think he may win the rematch though. Nash out. -
All to often fighters get written off after a bad loss . I guess fans will never learn it’s probably not a good idea . I suspect he wins the rematch convincingly and I’d say he’s not top 10 but yes the forum was putting this guy very high prior to his loss . I never had him in my top 10 . I think Kownacki vs a Nathan Gorman fight I would like myself though it’s a stretch, if he can get the redemption win which he should he’s had the much better camp .Last edited by REDEEMER; 10-03-2021, 09:41 PM.Comment

He’s pretty good. He hasn’t got great power or good defense or a great chin. If even one of those attributes was great he might be a serious contender but alas, no.
fun fighter to watch though. He brings what he’s got and that is that he’s a punching machine with a healthy fuel tank.Comment
