Do you really need a degree in law to understand that Lopez is NOT undisputed?
Loma brought only WBA and WBO titles(!) to their fight. Franchise is NOT a title.

It's within the weight limit. What Lopez is talking about isn't a catchweight if it involves the titles at 135. He's too dumb to understand.
There's been loads. I've never agreed with any of them sugar ray vs Lelonde was the worst .

He's not, unless he beats both Davis and Haney. The WBC belt is now reduced to the WBA regular. All his peers dispute his claim. Davis would starch this pretender. Screw all the belts.

Teo is a really good fighter. I just got to find a way to never hear from him or his dad.

Lopez isn’t fighting anyone but lawyers until 2023. He wasted 2yrs of his life chasing lotto money.

Why in hell would Taylor agree to such a dumb idea. Teo is such a tool. Just move up weight classes as you have been saying you will need to do and fight the guy. He's gonna beat you anyways so either fight at lightweight and defend your belts or move up. The dude is exhausting.

I thought this kid was busting at the seams at 135? just go to 140, fight a couple times then fight Taylor

Arum doesn't own the belts. Davis goes first if he wanted to enforce his right to fight Taylor at 140. He was the WBA regular at 140. He can also enforce a fight with Lopez at 135. It's not given that Lopez can even fight Taylor any time he wants. That's not how it works.

The lightweight championship cannot be at stake unless both fighters make 135. Duh, that's boxing 101. Lopez is the undisputed champion, despite Haney's paper title and the opinions of some gullible fans. But that doesn't mean that He doesn't still have plenty to do in order to clean out the division and establish a lasting legacy at lightweight. I don't even care about Kambosos. That's a nothing fight. But Davis, Garcia and Haney would all be interesting defenses.

We don't like catchweights, but I personally don't mind them for important fights, like Tito-Hopkins at 156 for the belts.
Good post, but you mean DLH-Hopkins at 158. Tito-Hopkins was not a CW.
