Yeah, I agree. I didn't think Kambosos could beat Lopez, but I was rooting for him. He seems like a cool character, even though he appears levels below the LW elite in terms of skill. Hope to see him soon in a big fight to see what he's made of.

Teo is telling them, I’m getting paid, screw that belt, get aboard or I’m dropping that trash.
I just saw Triller announce the 16th fight card. Saw Cletus Seldin but no Lopez. You got some bum Intel.

Also, Triller has sent a letter to the IBF requesting them to return the deposit that was placed into escrow. That means there is no Lopez fight being promoted by Triller.

IBF will certainly declare Triller in default, they're likely reviewing every document in this extensive ****show with their lawyers to and have every angle covered before announcing the ruling.

They've got to make make certain there's way Triller can come after them legally before dispersing the deposit to Lopez and Kambosis.

Your last sentence: Thank God. Lopez has no fight.

I've bought some pretty atrocious boxing cards over the years but that Paul vs Askren PPV is the only time I ever demanded a refund.

The sooner these clowns get away from boxing the better. Before one of their carnival shows end in tragedy.

It's what I expect and hope will happen. The question for me becomes who promotes it and when does it happen?

Mannix, who works for DAZN, says DAZN is interested in doing the fight in November, but I think talk of DAZN definitely staging it is premature. Lopez and Top Rank were in the midst of a dispute when the fight went to purse bid before. They've since repaired their relationship, worked out a new contract to pay him more money, and are on good terms.

Lopez has also definitely seen in the months since this all went down that the grass ain't always greener.

Arum has made it clear Lopez fighting on DAZN is unacceptable to ESPN and puts Top Rank in the doghouse with the network. I think there's every possibility Top Rank attempts to offer Lopez enough money to vacate the belt and fight someone else, but I don't know that they have that kinda cash.

Hearn and Top Rank are now in direct competition with one another in the UK market as well. I think there's no way Eddie does Arum a favor and passes on that fight... it's all gonna come down to what Lopez wants to do.

Yeah, it's funny because I don't think either TR or Matchroom really want the fight so much as they don't want the other to have it.

Hearn has previously said he has a plan for the fight should he have the opportunity. That said, he's seemed less than excited about it. If he declines to exercise their bid offer it's completely understandable but its also bad optics and he misses out on am opportunity to make TR look bad. How many subscribers does DAZN generate from that one-off fight? Does Teo vacate the IBF after all of this headache?

I don't know the particulars of Lopez' new deal with Bob but I imagine he'd have to sweeten the pot for Teo to supplement the original purse bid. I will say this, after all of the well publicized circus act from Triller, I bet people would be interested to see what happens if these two actually do fight. If it's on a readily accessible platform like ESPN, I think it could do healthy numbers.

                  Will be interesting...
