yea i was thinking that same thing as I was typing that. but you can't say Gatti-Cotto isnt PPV. If Barrera is getting a PPV to fight Fana, I think Gatti-Cotto warrants a PPV.

you're right though, a Gatti-Harris would be a great main event for an HBO Championship Fight telecast.

It's different. DLH himself said he's not expecting the PPV sale to be a success.

Gatti could probably get a late stoppage against Cotto. They could probably make it as an eliminator where the winner of Gatti-Cotto/Harris and Mayweather-Cotto/Harris would face each other?

i say he fights cotto,if weak corley hurt cotto (BAD) when weighting only 140,gatti can erioulsy hurt cotto and KTFO him..so i say he should go for him...even if he cant outbox cotto,cotto is easy to hit and he can go to war with cotto (you dont take gatti out by just one or two good shots to the chin or body,,,but cotto is another story) and i dont wanna hear this crap about cotto doesnt have a weak chin..PEOPLE...he wwas hurt by CORLEY (a weak hitter) while weighing in at Light Middle weight...so gatti and cotto should be good and beneficial to gatti

This is definitely a big loss for us boxing fans. We've been so anxious to see this fight and it's very disappointing that it won't fall through. To be honest, as much as i'm a big fan of Gatti, I don't think he's gonna win against the top welterweights of today, namely Tszyu, Mayweather, Cotto. Although I see Gatti having a chance against Harris and Hatton.

Chances of Gatti fighting this year in order:
1. Mayweather(75%) - this fight still has the best possibility to happen. I do think the fans will pressure Mayweather to sign the contract and Gatti will still extend the deadline.
2. Tszyu(50%) - If Gatti is that patient, he'll wait for the winner of Tszyu/Hatton(obviously Tszyu will win) and then have the fight around September.
3. Cotto(25%) - Cotto would want to redeem himself against his disappointing performance against Corley and Cotto knows he'll have the tools to beat the aging Gatti.
4. Dela Hoya(5%) - Gatti would wanna prove that he's learned a lot since their first fight and move up to welterweight.
