Ridiculous, WBC needs to cut this out. They are now the worst sanctioning body around, they are going to get someone killed for this dumb BS. Canadian level Cruiser going up against a world level heavy. Disgusting

So it's some tatted-up maritime-Canadian fighter who fought no one is now fighting for a title in a made-up division.

It seems that Sylvera Louis holds the keys to the bridgerweight kingdom lol?

      Booooo

Rozicki is a dangerous kid, but he's a mosquito compared to Rivas - he's not anything past a cruiser. Cheering for Ryan, though. I was convinced he'd be hanging around at cruiser for a long time, calling out the bigger names and getting ignored. I don't think this is his best career move, but I admire his courage. Still think he's a dangerous fight for most cruisers out there, just maybe not for an experienced ex-Olympian heavyweight like Rivas.

Not only another useless belt but an entirely useless division.

So why doesn't the WBC get the same treatment the WBA got? The ABC could if they wanted to and they really need to.

the WBC has agreed to sanction the WBC World Bridgerweight Title bout between Oscar Rivas and the #18 WBC-ranked Cruiserweight boxer Ryan Rozicki,” Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the WBC declared
Funny I remember we were promised a top 10 opponent just a week or two ago

Yvon Michel, Rivas’ promoter announced Sunday evening. “We already found a replacement, a ranked fighter from WBC’s bridgerweight division.

“Oscar Rivas will fight for the vacant WBC bridgerweight title on October 22nd at Olympia de Montreal. More details will come this week.”
And Ryan isn't anywhere on the WBC bridgerweight rankings

The ABC need to come down hard on the WBC like they did on the WBA. Force them to clean their act up cause this is a f***ing disgrace.

So he's not even ranked in their own top 15 a division below and they're trying to sell this as a world title fight. Disgraceful.

The other orgs are probably waiting to see if bridgerweight works out for the WBC and is a money maker before they condemn it or not.
