Really good match up in 08, even if it was one of Floyd's retirements (end of 07 to 09).
For Floyd -right after Hatton and DLH and for Cotto -right after Gomez and Mosely. (Before Marg 1). The fight would have to be at WW.
Close fight but Floyd edges Cotto. It would be very similar to their fight at the higher weight but both would be younger of course and more than likely more active.

It is the one fight that I wish had happened. It would have helped solidify Floyd’s ranking historically.
