It has nothing to do with that. In boxing, you have to take risks. Usyk also got punished with big shots but he kept his foot on the gas.

AJ was just a confused guy trying to outbox a boxer. And even before the fight, he respected Usyk way too much like a fan.

He looks gun shy now and McCracken is clueless. They’re not even on same page after the event, Joshua says back to the drawing board and Rob says no need.

Ironic that the photo at the bottom of your post is fury on his arse against Cunningham. He was coming up short against a smaller, faster more skilful opponent so he turned it into a fight and rough houses his way to an ugly win using purely size and strength. Wasn’t good to watch but Joshua could learn something from that.

Joshua is a thinking mans boxer. Boxing is a game of constant adjustments, Aj was having trouble reacting in time to the adjustments he was making in his head and he never threw a punch. There are a ton of plans a boxer can bring in the ring, A million factors studying the opponents weakness and susceptibilities and taking advantage accordingly, looking for the proper opening and knowing your opponents likely reaction. ,
All the while knowing your own strengths and weaknesses. Like a game of chess.

Wilder has only one plan and couldnt give a FK about any of that. Hes gonna throw the right and knock you TFO.
AJ is gonna think too much and get KTFO by Wilder or almost anyone at this point I feel like.

AJs best effort in a fight came against whyte. If he fights like that all the time he'll be hard to beat.

Joshua is chinny and can't walk through even light punchers like Usyk.

I think I said that 2 days before the fight,
It is there somewhere when I tried to explain I did not know who was going to win but that I saw AJ missing and Usyk coming with the left from below. LOL.

AJ tried to let his hands go, but the mf just kept moving and firing back.. I hope we see Usyk vs Whyte at some point. Shyte wont win one round.

Whyte would get KO’d by Usyk or it would be a 12 round sweep for Usyk. Whyte is too ponderous and slow. Joshua has much better speed, foot movement and reflexes. Having said that, I do enjoy Whyte’s fights.

Whyte's comments in this case are spot on. If AJ had imposed his size and strength he still may not have won, but that was definitely his ticket in this fight. He fought a "careful" fight, and it didn't serve him well. I believe a lot of that is his mental issues after the first Ruiz fight ... he has not reconciled getting concussed. Perhaps he is afraid of that for the future ... he obviously doesn't like to get hit. Whyte is right though, he should have picked up his sheild and went down being very aggressive. All Joshua has to do is hit you anywhere hard, thhe damage will quickly accumulate.
