Deontay Wilder would've knocked Anthony Joshua out

I always thought it was a pick'em fight since both have weaknesses that can be exploited. Wilder's struggles with Fury didn't change that assessment and neither does AJ's loss to Usyk.
Anyway, it's a mythical matchups so we won't ever really know unless they actually get in the ring and even if that happens it doesn't mean whoever wins would have won had it happened when it should have.Comment

yeah Johua's power is overrated, but Wilder does not have a solid chin either. We've seen him do the stanky legs against weaker punchers than Joshua.Comment

Ya. Wilder takes chances. Look at the first Fury fight or the first Ortiz fight. His heart is exponentially better than Joshua'sFor a huge 6' 6" 245+lbs guy who is afraid of an Usyk or Ruiz punch and fights defensively, a Wilder feint is enough for him to cover up and back away. Joshua will give him enough opportunities but the question remains if Wilder will be ferocious enough to go on the offensive? We have seen the kind of Joshua fights now but we'll have to wait and see what kind of Wilder will be in the fight.Comment

Exactly. Only way I can see Joshua beating Wilder down the line is if Wilder is no longer the same fighter after the Fury fight.I always thought it was a pick'em fight since both have weaknesses that can be exploited. Wilder's struggles with Fury didn't change that assessment and neither does AJ's loss to Usyk.

AJ doesn't have the kind of power to knock Wilder out with 1 punch. I don't know why people think he can. If AJ hurts Wilder with some combinations then he can get Wilder out of there.Comment
