I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Usyk is clearing this division. While I’m sure Fury could beat Joshua, Usyk’s performance has NOTHING to do with Fury.
To his credit, however, Fury vs Usyk has a couple of variables to it; I’m convinced that he’ll try and spoil and lean on Usyk all night. Only thing is, Usyk’s been around the block and seen it all before. Of course, I’m making the assumption that Fury will be facing him, even though posters here have convinced themselves his upcoming opponent won’t get stomped again, which brings me to this…
In the event that Haymon lets him fight Usyk (he won’t), anyone who thinks Wilder’s laying a glove on the man is living in a dream world; Usyk sees that right coming all night and what’s more, Wilder’s left hook is a slap.
I reiterate, this is Uysk’s division now. The big question for me is: will the boxing authorities actually do us all a favour and facilitate some of these match ups, esp undisputed, as opposed to obstructing to them for once?

I like fury but team fury need to stop making excuses. You denied us fight in first place so no need to duck joshua now you owe us the fight.
Josh is better than everyone on your resu!e apart from wlad so of course fight Josh already. You want to be goat in division and better than Ali you need names like Josh to pad resume outLast edited by hugh grant; 09-27-2021, 05:26 AM.

If Fury would destroy him (and I do agree that Fury would probably win) why would the fight never happen? obviously its nowhere near as big as it would have been but its still a bigger fight with more money to gain than most fights Fury could have, and it would settle the question of who the better UK HW was without any room for doubt. This notion that you cant fight someone ever because they took a loss to someone else is just weird.

Tyson has fought far worse fighters than Josh is, so josh needs to be the next fight after wilder. At end of day in 20 years time people will be saying Josh is greater as he has better resume than Tyson so Tyson needs a win over josh at the very least to boast about.
No more excusesLast edited by hugh grant; 09-27-2021, 07:53 AM.
