Gotta admire a guy who can see the positive in defeats. No throwing trainers under the bus,no crying about a weight of a costume,no accusations of cheating....just a guy accepting defeat and going back to the drawing board. Just a terrible gameplan as Bellew had said post fight,you're not going to out box the cat

Goddamn what an event though!! That show/entrance/fight was nothing short of spectacular. Nothing comes close to that environment/excitement here in the states! Had friends and family over that arent the biggest boxing fans but all of them were in awe of both ring walks and the fight. Yes Wilder hasn't beat anyone much and he's FIVE years ahead of AJ in his career. He even produced a A4 document of conditions Whyte would have to fulfil before he fought him. He was so scared of fighting anyone live in the top-10. lol. Wilder has courage in the ring but out of it seems scared of everyone

Say what you will about him as a fighter but AJ has an exceptionally strong mind. He would be a billionaire if he could bottle and sell his mentality.

If he had such an "exceptionally strong mind" why didn't he sell out when he realised things were going badly and let it all hang out rather get KO'D then an embarrassing points loss to the smaller man who commanded centre ring from first bell and bullied him, he's mentally weak and has no dog, I'm curious who has less dog in him AJ or Parker the big heavyweight debate LOL

AJ gets gradually worse, more unsure as he ages. Seems he's lost belief in his abilities which is odd considering how he fought back against Vlad. Something not right up top.

Whether he’s delusional or not I don’t think he’s fake. The guy clearly has a lot of mental strength to be able to almost immediately put aside negativity and move forward. He has an extraordinarily positive mindset , That is a rare strength and a gift.

He loses & they're still angry cause he didn't feel sorry for himself, they call him fake & delusional cause they can't imagine being in that situation & not feeling sorry for themselves

You completely missed my point. I didn’t say he had an exceptional boxing IQ or that he was any kind of tactical genius. He is mentally strong because he almost immediately moves past disappointment and does not get mired in negativity. This is extremely rare, especially among elite fighters.
