No... Actually quite the opposite. It means that what people identify as the so called "White" supremacy system, is in fact, all inclusive and does not discriminate... It tells all of us to get down and fit in. I apologize, as I should have made this clear... I was using the nomenclature people assign to the system and while Joshua happens to be Black, he could be any nationality and the point would apply.

Its professional prize fighting. People use elbows, they throw the head if they can... I don't remember seeing that in particular with Lewis. There was a lot of hate between those two, thats for sure. Neither was an angle.Comment

I have a ton of respect for Anthony Joshua! I love his mentality of taking the immediate rematch vs Usyk! Let's rumble again boys!!!!Comment

Well, I agree there's been a lot of telling people to get down and fit in lately, like for the last two years.

But back to boxing, I don't understand the hate for AJ. What has he done to offend people? I think there's a sense that he held the belts hostage for a while; maybe that's fair to an extent.
Otherwise, he's atypical for a fighter persona, and it's nice to see. He's a decent boxer and blessed with size and reach. He's fought a bunch of names; more than Fury or Wilder. People can argue whether those fighters have been in their prime or not, but at least he has names on a receipt.
Usyk is a better boxer. Others might hit harder. Etc. Seems like the over-the-top character assassinations and insults just come from overzealous watchers. I don't see most pros talk like that about other pros; there's usually a fair respect either way.Comment

Not really being delusional and acting like nothing is wrong or making all sorts of excuses for what your opponent did wrong and you didn't to convince yourself that you can improve and how you were wronged in someway is pretty stand procedure with elite athletes, boxing or not, AJ isn't special in that regard but if you want to believe AJ is special then fair enough.
You completely missed my point. I didn’t say he had an exceptional boxing IQ or that he was any kind of tactical genius. He is mentally strong because he almost immediately moves past disappointment and does not get mired in negativity. This is extremely rare, especially among elite fighters.Comment

People polarize... its not really AJ per se. I never understood it either.

When he's fighting he shows a lot of courage but then out of the ring he runs from anyone good . E.g. Joshua (Wilder already said he picked a retired Fury even tho Joshua was offering him more, and Joshua had a ton of belt. He has basically avoided anyone live in the top-10 who isn't old. Dillian Whyte is at 1000 days and waiting now... When Wilder picked Fury he was a big name, who was fat and retired. High gain, low risk fight. Fury wasn't even rated.
Not saying he is a bad fighter but he is quite unproven, just because he rarely fights anyone top-level. Same with Fury - he has only beat one top-10 opponent in almost 6 years.Comment
