Fury would annihilate Joshua

I guess Holyfield should have a great pop at 57 if Foreman were that powerful at age 50. Oh, he just got battered by a guy who isn’t a boxer.
No great boxer should be getting laid out by a pensioner the way Moorer got laid out. He wasn’t all that. Stop it.Comment

Respect to BangEM for staying here and continuing to post after last night!
You win some and lose some. Unbeaten boxer is a ruse and you’ll eventually lose if you start fighting different styles. The only boxers that go unbeaten are the ones who’re risk averse. There’s a reason why Fury and Wilder don’t jump into the ring with everyone and why Mayweather was strategic.
Any boxer that takes risks and put it on the line against everyone would eventually lose. You just can’t master all the styles and human tendencies in boxing since there’s no perfect boxer.
I’m still Team AJ till the wheels fall off but I’ll critique him if I need to.Comment

I’m cut from the same cloth as these cowards. I didn’t run when he lost to Ruiz - why would I run now?

Fury needs to take a leaf out of AJs book and get in the ring against these guys.

I never said Wilder hits harder than Foreman.
What does 57 year old Evander Holyfield have to do with anything we’re discussing?
Michael Moorer is way better than Usyk. It’s not even up for debate. Sorry.
I thought Beyoncé was the hardest punching HW ever - what changed?

I honestly doubt Fury would want to take that type of risk. I studied Fury and I’ve been watching him since he turned pro and he’s too prideful to take any risk that would subject him to the type of humiliation AJ is going through with his losses. Else he’d lose his marbles again. So I believe he’s going to play it safe until he retires.Comment

I am not so sure that Fury annihilates Joshua. Joshua has good fundamentals and can hit with reasonable power if allowed to fight his way. In a normal fight, it would be 50-50 unless Fury comes up with a style that completely changes Joshua's plan. This would involve upping the pace and throwing a high volume of shots in combination to keep Joshua from settling down and executing his game plan. I would have slightly favored Joshua to win before this Usyk fight but not I fear Joshua will fight afraid for the rest of his career unless he completely changes his style and attitude.
Wilder is also dangerous for Joshua for he is quite athletic and keeps his distance. He will come in fast and fire his right hand which, given Joshua's two losses, would keep Joshua on the defensive. And this would help Wilder actually land some of those shots. If Wilder lands a few or even one with full power, it is bye bye Joshua. But if Joshua controls the fight from the beginning and is not afraid, he can bully Wilder much as Fury did and win in the middle or late rounds. I will favor Wilder to win though.Comment
