AJ should have been more physical...

AJ should have fought like Chisora.

Styles make fights I have no idea why people expected a boxer-puncher to suddenly become a pressure fighter or swarmer.

Chisora is a bull. He has a low centre of gravity and fights short bobbing & weaving, getting under shots and winging big powershots over the top.
Chisora is just built different that guy will give just about anyone big problems just because he is so strong, durable and physical. It doesn't matter what you hit him with unless you put his lights clean out he's going too keep coming.
AJ while built like a Greek God and can no doubt outlift just about anyone in the division isn't particularly physically strong. There is a difference between being strong and being physically strong. He has incredible bone density.

Maybe AJ would have been more aggressive if Usyk didn't land a big straight left off the bat that put him on his heels and several others early in the first round.
I think AJ not even one minute into the fight quickly discovered Usyk has the speed, timing, accuracy to hurt him. If he was more aggressive he'd have got lit up much worse.

Only Chisora has the attributes in the HW division to just show virtually a total disregard for the sweet science and have such success granted I only gave him 3 maybe 4 rounds at best.

I don't expect many to agree but I actually feel that was the best AJ has looked he was feinting with purpose, his upper body movement was a little better and more fluid and its the first time I've really seen him adjust in a fight. Usyk is just that good and then some.

He would have gotten knocked out.

Chisora can take a punch. Joshua can’t. That’s why he was content to sit outside and get outclassed.

He didn’t want to get knocked out.

Yep it was his best chance he needed to use his only advantage size, just not his style though and he is not a killer deep down just a skilled sportman.

At top level you gotta have the dog in you because when you gotta really fight its gotta be there it's not with AJ.

He can't fight anything like Chisora correct but he could have done certain things to impliment his physical size.

Go watch Klitschko vs Povetkin, klitschko would have done the same to Usyk and Joshua has the attributes to use that approach (maybe tone it down a bit)

Having a taller heavier man leaning all over you, mauling you, pushing you down takes its toll. Joshuas best work came when he grabbed Usyk and threw in a bodyshot, basic big man technique but he only did it a couple of times.

They have tried to make Joshua some masterful outside boxer but that's A) not using his strengths that well and B) wrong approach for this fight, maybe only Vitali klitschko has the ability to beat Usyk like that.

Joshua fought scared from the opening bell. He’s not the type to swarm someone like that. The Hearniacs seemed to think that AJ’s skills + Chisora’s fight = AJ win.

Because Joshua was trying to inch his way in behind a weak jab with his chin exposed.

Chin on chest, high guard, stride forward.

Joshua has no idea how to impose his size, none, if a guy is countering you cleanly you don't stand there trying to fence with them, see Fury vs Cunningham, Steve was lighting fury up with clean counters, heavy shots, Fury then decided to let Cunningham experience the feeling of a 250lb man's Moobs shoved in his face against the ropes, no finesse.

I agree AJ doesn't have the chin to make it a dog fight usyk would've countered him all night had he let his "hands go"
AJ doesn't handle getting hit very well he got exposed against Ruiz and it was just a matter of time until it happened again

Usyk used much more movement...he didn't allow Joshua to pressure him or set very much.

Joshua is out-boxer. He has no inside game plan and he can`t take the punch.

If he had tried to bully Usyk, he would have got knocked out in first 7 rounds.
