I will give AJ some credit…

It’s well documented that a lot of the people behind him were imploring him to vacate the WBO title and avoid Usyk. Whilst some of the less educated posters on here completely writ off Usyk’s chances, most of the more knowledgeable boxing fans knew this was a tough fight for AJ and that Usyk was a legitimate threat. So fair play to AJ for actually taking the fight instead of taking a much easier fight vs Whyte. AJ’s still a good fighter and I’m sure he’ll be back in the mix soon.

That being said AJ was outclassed tonight, he had a few moments but Usyk was clearly the better man. AJ was outfought, outboxed and outclassed.

So to all the AJ fanboys who constantly spam this forum with your agenda driven nonsense, stop with the BS, AJ has been exposed twice now. He’s a good fighter but he’s not an elite fighter, he’s not some heavyweight great and he’s damn sure not the #1 heavyweight in the world.

Usyk pulled away late in the fight for sure but I don't think he outclassed him.Through 8 rounds I had the fight dead even and gave the last four rounds to Usyk. But he did not truly pull away until the 11th round.

For all the good Joshua does, he simply does not react to getting hit well and tires out. You could see it in his body reaction that he was done late in the fight and had the look of a lost puppy. I still hope he takes the rematch though.

I honestly think he thought Usyk was easier fight than Whyte
probably trying to protect his chin until the undisputed thing is Arum screwed them big time and probably view Usyk as easier option coming off lackluster performances

I think AJ deserves the credit you give him.

AJ fanboys deserve what they get. But let's not leave out the AJ haters who were claiming this wasn't a big fight between two top fighters. Plenty said Usyk had no chance because they were scared of the prospect that Joshua might win. That agenda grated on me more than anything else.

And I wouldn't get too hung up on where this places Joshua relative to anyone except Usyk. The other guys had the chance to prove he's not on their level and never went for it. There's no reflected glory for Wilder and Fury tonight. And a defeat to Usyk doesn't change the equation in the ring if either of those men ever fight him. Wilder and Fury are still exactly what they were a few hours ago.
