Joshua was trying to impose his size, reach and power but was getting lit up and outmanoeuvred from the very first moments of the fight. I was surprised to see how soon Usyk was landing clean on AJ, and how frequently he was doing it. I figured the length and range of AJ would be much more difficult to overcome. The thing is Usyk’s foot and hand speed were too much of a problem and his awkward mobility were really impressive, especially for a heavyweight. Usyk moved like Lomachenko in there. AJ got buzzed a few times and knew he couldn’t get too reckless or he would get exhausted and/ or hurt and possibly KO’d.I honestly thought AJ would come in heavy and put his win behind his power shots. I think I posted it somewhere as well. I was expecting Joshua to win by KO by keeping his distance and landing some power shots. Instead, he came in light and tried to outbox Usyk which was a very bad idea. It worked for Ruiz who ballooned to 300lbs and did not have any footwork but won't work for Usyk.
Usyk is a great fighter so anyone trying to beat him by outboxing him is doing a risky job. Put the pressure and hit him with power shots. Only Fury could outbox him due to size, reach, dirty tricks, and movement.Comment

If Eddie is smart he will give AJ an easy comeback fight and then get him to fight the winner of Usyk vs Fury/Wilder, at least that will be for the Undisputed Heavyweight title.
An immediate rematch with Usyk will not generate anywhere near as much.
Will Eddie be impatient and go for the quick cash or will he be patient and make maximum Moolah?Comment

i went with the over & usyk 7-12 @9/1 thinking that usyk is a slow starter and would drown AJ late, as soon as round 1 started and usyk tagged AJ in the first 20 seconds with a straight left, i lumped on usyk By KO. i was convinced he couldn't win a decision
I thought we would get a bogus D(ung)on King or PBC draw robbery. I'm pleasantly surprised. I still wish I had the balls to wire money to an online site to bet Usyk. I thought he would boss the fight early but once the robot connected he would dominate him with size.
I knew that theory was going down the crapper when the robot tried to out box the master boxer. The fight looked like Louis-Conn 1 but with Conn using his head and backing off and not sitting in the pocket and trying for the ko.
