It's been a minute since I heard about el dengue. Mosquito's are some the most annoying pieces of **** on the planet. Get well soon Nonito.

Sonsona looks like the left handed version of Nonito and at 19 clearly beating seasoned vets is impressive. The kid has power and a lot of room for improvement which must be scary for all the fighters 115 and up.

Nonito is really good, but he should fight him soon before Sonsona gets too good.

Sonsona is far better to match up with Darch before Donaire actually, though, too early for Sonsona to that match up.

And it's just natural for a trainer to give confidence to his pupil of busting any ass of his divisions, and the fighter should feel the same way without reservations, otherwise if the fighter lack confidence of beating one or two in his divisions then he don't have that will to impose as true champion! If Sonsona and his trainer believes that he can even beat Donaire who is respected to be the best on that weight divisions then that's great and they are in a possitive ascending! And that's what true champion feels!
I didn't say that there was something wrong with it my friend. I meant the possibility of a Pinoy vs. Pinoy matchup in a title fight became much more of a reality because of their current wave of success. Ayt?

YEah thank God for that... Gotten tired of the "World Pound for pound King and National Hero of the Philippines..." spiel.

And if PAcquiao loses, it would only get longer because he would have to add the word "Former"

To say that I won't fight a guy because I don't want to spoil his chances of becoming a world champion - just because he's Pinoy, how is that in any beneficial to the integrity of the sport?

              Fight Drama

Setting fights is all about drama. The Philippines is just starting to make its way back into the boxing scene. Most Filipinos would find it counter-productive and even tragic that their countrymen would be fighting each other for a championship when the nation is just re-building its reputation in the international boxing community.

Maybe when Donaire and other Filipino champions has established themselves and there are no other challenger to dispute their dominance will a Filipino take on a fellow countryman. Until then, people will be seeing drama based on nationality. With that said however, as much as we are all affected by national and political drama, a true boxing fan has the greatest affinity to skill, honour and courage regardless of where the fighter comes from.

No point in the fight right now, if they do Donaire might ruin his career, plus let him try to clean out the division before challenging the newly crowned champ, I would actually like to see this fight once Sonsona gains more experience, seeing all the battles between Mexican fighters, I have always wondered how Pinoy vs Pinoys (top ones atleast) would do, should be interesting.
