I buy all the theater PPVs I can.

I think it's worth checking out if you've never done it. I don't have any boxing fans locally, don't even know why they air the fight here tbh. It's 20 bucks and if 10 people show for the main that's a lot for my area.

So, worth it to me. I don't cook for myself, I don't clean up after, and no one bothers me. ****ing great.

nobody streams fights to watch it on their phone. You mirror it to your big screen. Or you use a Firestick. My particular setup is a desktop plugged into my TV via HDMI. Anyway, I'm reasonably sure that nobody is watching fights on their phone.

Are you kidding!? Heck no it isn’t new. I took my daughter to GGG Canelo I and II. Tickets were 20$-30$ a piece and the the theatre was the recliner seats. Toss in popcorn, for me beers her soda and a raucous crowd it was like being ringside. Theatre ppv has been around for quite awhile and I will be attending this. You can’t beat 20$ whole fight card tickets.

I think Joe Frazier vs Muhammad Ali I or III was shown live at movie theaters.

Lol, I guess you do what you have to do. Back in the early 90s when I couldn't afford HBO, I used to turn to the channel to listen to the audio with the video scrambled lol. I "watched" Holyfield vs Tyson 2 like that. "TYSON DID WHAT?!!?!" lol

My thoughts exactly. “Highly anticipated” is an insult to boxing fans and an insult to Fury.
The only reason they are fighting is the rematch clause. There is no need for a third fight but I’m still happy to see Wilder getting destroyed again and sent off to retirement cuz he will be done ✅

The worst part about watching fight night in a theater is having to sit through all the jaw-******* between matches. At home, I just open a new tab on the pc when a fight is over and do something else until I hear a bell for the next fight.
