This right here. Just get this fight and Teo/kambosis done so we can move on to more compelling fights.

This all dates back to Bob Arum when Muhammad Ali used to carry all of his fights on closed circuit television with Top Rank; A company in which Muhammad Ali founded by the way. Ali discovered both Bob Arum and Don King.

So what are you saying; That you prefer streaming the fight on your phone as opposed to watching it on a big screen?

I take it that you are neither a Tyson Fury or a Deontay Wilder fan and are just simply refusing to purchase the fight no matter the cost. However, i am different. I just so happen to be a Deontay Wilder fan.

This fight is just too important not only for me but for the entire heavyweight division as a whole and for the entire sport of boxing in general. Therefore, I am purchasing it on Pay-Per View..

I don't think it's a good idea to really spend large money on to market in the cinema.
No,actually this is an outdated business model dating back to the 1950s. Closed Circuit Television was the precursor to Pay Per View Television..It was how boxing promoters made money off of big fights that wasn't carried or televised live on network television. What Bob Arum is attempting to do here is to maximize all potential revenue streams possible for this fight..

Maybe the most exciting fight of the year, if it happens. Canelo-Plant is also a big fight.

80 bucks? You’ve obviously never attended one and of course are shooting at the mouth or have and got ripped off. Now which is it? Tickets are 25$ in theatre.

                  your turn

nobody streams fights to watch it on their phone. You mirror it to your big screen. Or you use a Firestick. My particular setup is a desktop plugged into my TV via HDMI. Anyway, I'm reasonably sure that nobody is watching fights on their phone.
