I personally had Haye losing to Valuev. He looked bad that fight, I knew he had no chance against Klitschko after that.

Valuev-Chagaev is a better example. Chagaev was even shorter than Haye.

If we’re being honest, when Ruiz pummeled Aj until he quit, it was Ruiz who didn’t have the full training camp as he took the fight on very short notice while Aj was training for a fight the entire time. For Ajs rematch win, he obviously faced a much fatter and unmotivated Ruiz. So while It’s not Ajs fault that Ruiz got fatter, I wouldn’t be gloating over that extremely boring and overly cautious win. It’s not like he pulled a Lennox Lewis vs Rahman in the rematch. Overall, Usyks greater skill and will are very likely to cause Joshua problems

Ruiz was in training he had also been more active coming off a Ustinov fight I believe ? Either way it was AJ with only limited time for a much smaller guy then Miller and was getting burnt out by all the media pressers he was doing . Ruiz got dropped by Arreola at a lighter weight ,the excuse Ruiz was out of shape isn’t true at all ,all these excuses came out after the loss . He looked very sharp in the media workouts and admitted Hecate a big meal before the weigh in to throw A.J off .

What I like about AJ fights the most are the posters that back pedal on here it’s why I book Mark threads now because it’s the usual suspects that say one thing then claim another after his fights .

so a big meal before the weigh in caused a 15 pound increase in his fight weight just 6 months later? Highly unlikely. I’m pretty sure plenty made a big deal about that weight gain prior to the start of the fight. If anyone was at a disadvantage with training camp for the first fight it was definitely Ruiz. Arguing otherwise and blaming the media is ridiculous.

                    ...well, that's his fault.

It isn't that he lost. It's HOW he lost. And then how he behaved in the rematch.

His legacy is literally fear of obesity.
